POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you a cheery individual with an outgoing personality? Do you enjoy helping other people? Sugarbush is currently looking for friendly volunteers to serve as Ambassadors around the mountain!

First-year Ambassadors will receive an employee all-mountain season pass and one dependent pass, and much more! Benefits grow with consecutive seasons of volunteering. Seasonal volunteer commitment is a minimum of 20 days.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet and greet guests in the parking and drop-off zones
• Assist with crowd and queue management in base area lift lines, ticket lines, and other queues
• Assist guests in locating appropriate terrain
• Lead "meet the mountain" tours.
• Complete other Guest Service related tasks.
• Happily share your knowledge of Sugarbush and the Mad River Valley with guests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to safely and strongly ski/ride beginner and intermediate terrain in all winter weather conditions.
• Strong team player with the ability to pitch in and support various departments.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to sit and/or stand in two-hour-long intervals, and push/pull up to 25 pounds.
• Must be familiar with Sugarbush Resort and knowledgeable about the surrounding Mad River Valley.
