Alternate Program Manager

ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for an Alternate Program Manager with a Secret clearance located in Vienna, VA. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.

Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with maintaining overall programmatic (cost, schedule, and performance) responsibility for the execution of the contract and the delivery of services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
• Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
• Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
• Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
• Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
• Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation. Will supervise others.

Basic Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Program Management Institute (PMI®)
• Bachelor’s degree
• Specialized experience with Department of Defense comparable payroll, human resources, and training systems
• Have a technical background (preferably in software development)
• Have an active DoD SECRET Clearance
• Demonstrated experience managing a project of 50-75 personnel

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience and knowledge of Army National Guard G1 systems
