Alliances Business Development Manager – Southeast
Alliances Business Development Manager will lead our sales teams' engagement with our partners. Ideal candidate will have a mix of business development, relationship management, strategic planning, and account management. Experience in direct sales, consulting or at a SaaS vendor is a plus. Must be able to communicate strategy and ideas exceptionally well, self-sufficient and able to manage multiple projects with little supervision. The Alliances Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for working with the sales team to engage Alliance Partners in sales opportunities in a co-sell environment. This is a quota carrying position. Must be committed to working in a fast-paced environment and based in the general Southeast region of the United States (preferred locations include Atlanta, Charlotte and Nashville but other locations will be considered for a Rockstar candidate).

Responsibilities:
- Manage a quota for both alliances sourced opportunities and alliance influenced ARR
- Assist sales account executives in closing deals by engaging alliance partners
- Manage leading indicators and forecasts to build an alliances pipeline 1-2 quarters out
- Work with Sales account executives to build an alliance engagement strategy by opportunity or by target account
- Manage communications and activities for both internal and external resources
- Engaging with industry leading alliance partners across multiple categories (Tech, Cloud, Voice, Care, Social, GSI, Agency)
Key Skill Sets Required:
- Channel / Partner business development skills
- Account and relationship management skills
- Collaborating with Field Sales Account Executives
- 5 - 7 years experience in an Alliances role
Preferred Skills (but not required):
- Prior direct sales experience a plus
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus
