Job Description
Agile Delivery Manager
This is a transformation program role with duration of 2 years and will be manage the delivery certainty of analytic products & projects across the world, applying agile behaviours & methods to ensure lean delivery management, risk management, cost plans & knowledge management. This role will be accountable for analytics projects and products ensuring schedule, roadmap and benefits value delivery within the Data and Analytics function.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Agile Project management certification
- Minimum five years IT experience
- Minimum of two to three years hands-on agile delivery experience (Scrum Master / Kanban)
- Candidate should be familiar with current Analytic technologies (Tableau/Data Lake)
- Experience of the FMCG industry desirable
What will be your key responsibilities:
- Manages the delivery of up to $1M in annual projects or products securing benefits through expert management of user satisfaction, costs and time.
- Leads a high performing team of up to 10 people.
- Determines business process and technical requirements, gains team commitment, and delivers effective business process and system changes.
- Working across Mars teams (Advance Analytics, Data & Analytics and Core Services), determining user stories, non-functional requirements and completes design in line with overall project or product goals.
- Oversees the discovery, build and delivery of the business solution through Development teams and ensures successful transition to Support services.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of the relevant business area to aid in the development of accurate and concise functional requirements (user stories).
- Applies technical and functional knowledge to design solutions which are in line with technical architecture, database design and performance requirements; and which are appropriate given the context within which they will be implemented.
- Analyzes the business and systems impact of the solution and plans tasks required to achieve delivery of the fully tested solution.
- Creates a sense of team with internal and 3rd party resources during design, development, implementation and nurturing phases.
- Delivers solutions which are quality and functionally tested, aligned to product owner vision meeting functional and technical requirements.
- Champions change management through identifying solution training and education requirements, designs and may carry out required training programs.
- Holds teams to account managing 3rd parties to ensure delivery per SoW Agreements and ensures improved ways of working.
