Job Posting: After-School Virtual Cooking Teacher (Yorba Linda)

Do you like to work with kids and enjoy cooking as a hobby?

Pay: $60.00 per (1) hour class
LIFT Enrichment, Inc. is looking for upbeat and high-energy teachers to help us lead cooking classes for kids at schools! Our 1-hour cooking class taught as an after-school program is super fun and engaging for elementary-age students. Plus each lesson teaches them about nutrition, culture and culinary skills!

An ideal candidate has experience working with kids (i.e. babysitter, counselor, teacher assistant) and a side passion for cooking. You don’t have to be a chef! In fact, our best teachers are often students studying to be teachers, improv actors or performers!

As a Cooking Teacher (aka Chef Teacher) we provide paid-training, uniform, ingredients delivered to you, and top-notch curriculum so you can lead a 1-hour class at a nearby school.

We are the HIGHEST paying provider of after-school cooking classes because you will earn

$60 per class, reflecting 3 hours of work at $20 per hour (1-hour class, 20 minute prep, 20 minute cleanup + driving)

AND we reimburse mileage to and from each school at $.585 per mile (no one else does this!)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Have experience working with kids
• Be upbeat and high-energy!
• Have a car
• Be vaccinated
• Enjoy cooking! (You can make an omelet or make a pasta with sauce, you don’t have to be professional)

This is a part-time position taught 1-5 afternoons per week. Classes typically start between 2:00pm to 3:30pm.
