Technica LLC seeks to recruit an AF Logistics Subject Matter Expert on a Government contract with a place of performance at Tyndall AFB, FL.

Position Responsibilities: *
The contractor shall provide higher headquarters level logistics subject matter expert providing AF supply system expertise and technical assistance to support worldwide EOD equipment at Tyndall AFB, FL. Equipment support ranges from Robotics, Mine Detection, EOD Mobility Equipment, Basic Expeditionary Engineering Force, to standard Base Support Equipment and staff level management of EOD Information Support Systems integration and execution. Responsibilities include:
- Serves as the technical content manager for acquisition and sustainment roadmaps
- Coordinates the disposition of obsolete equipment
- Reviews backorders and inventory balances to develop fielding plans
- Provides AF EOD functional MAJCOM level direction on logistics and supply issues affecting inventory balances, shortages, sustainment, and disposition decisions career field wide.
- Provides AF EOD functional community execution and implementation guidance on requisitions, backorders, and accountability within AFEMS.
- Attend semi-annual equipment management facility/equipment sustainment program re-view status meetings at Tyndall AFB, FL, Hill AFB, UT, or Indian Head EOD Technology Division, Indian Head, MD as directed.
- Participates in prepublication and post-publication of technical order reviews.
- Responsible for maintaining the accuracy, adequacy, modification, classification, review, and currency of the technical content of technical orders that support the assigned systems or equipment managed. All content is maintained with no more than five (5) errors per review.
- Provides technical data support for acquisition, modernization, and replacement of support equipment.
- Participates in provisioning conferences. Provisions new or existing systems. Assigns maintenance factors, Source, Maintainability and Recoverability (SMR) codes, Expend-ability, Reparability and Recoverability Codes (ERRC), Demilitarization (DEMIL) codes, Materiel Management Aggregate Codes (MMAC) codes, Precious Metal Indica-tor (PMI) codes, and select recoverable items for which parts breakdown and drawings are required. Selects tools and test equipment required to test, inspect, calibrate, and re-pair or overhaul the provisioned item.
- Assists the Government in determining when items are no longer used or repairable and should be disposed of in accordance with proper guidelines. Exercises continuing responsibility in determining if a system is obsolete and if items should be identified for disposal or retained for future use. Reviews each stock number and determines if the proper Demilitarization (DEMIL) code is assigned. Makes recommendations on items being sent to disposal for use to support other systems or components.
- Determines through evaluation of deficiency reports, exhibit tear down reports, engineering recommendations, and maintenance failure data, corrective actions required to maintain effective utilization and reliability of assigned equipment. Processes material improvement projects, modifications proposals, suggestions, tools, and test equipment requirements, etc. Prepares directives for inspection, servicing, and maintenance of as-signed equipment.
- Redact information as necessary to release EODIMS reports to outside agencies
- Identify/disseminate deficiencies affecting EOD operations for resolution or technical order changes
- Primary coordinator for AF wide EOD Safety Day activities and case management presentation.
- Host Significant Incident Working Groups in accordance with (IAW) AFI 32-3001 within 5 calendar days of a fatal casualty and develop Case Analysis reports as directed
- Coordinate directly with units, MAJCOMS, and Civil Engineering senior leadership to resolve negative trends that affect security, safety, support, moral and DoD compliance
- Identify career field office of primary responsibility to resolve Doctrine, Organization, Training, Manpower, Leadership, Personnel and Facility (DOTMLPF) issues
- Staff level coordinator for strategic advisor counsel and sub-working technical advisory working groups (Training Working Group, Equipment Technical Advisory Board, Training Working Group, Range Working Group, Nuclear Working Group, and emergent Integrated Product Teams)
- Reviewing EODIMS deficiency reporting, EOD incident reporting, lessons learned, significant incidents and evolving trends and lessons learned tools
Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and background checks related to the position
- Valid state driver's license
- Must possess at least 10 years of experience of Air Force logistics.

Desired Qualifications: *
- Requires a good working knowledge of the Government supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; an understanding of the distribution operations; and analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
- Must have the ability to obtain and retain a NACI clearance to receive a CAC card.
- Must possess knowledge, skills, and Abilities: Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft word, Microsoft PowerPoint and DPAS.
- Familiar with Explosive Ordnance Disposal Equipment and Air Force EOD equipment and supply listings.
- Familiar with Air Force Logistics, Civil Engineering, or Computer Technology Career fields. Proficient in DPAS.
