Advanced NDT Operations Manager
Intertek is searching for an Advanced NDT Operations Manager to join our Asset Integrity Management (AIM) team in our Pasadena, Tx office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Industry Services !
The Advanced NDT Operations Manager is responsible for staffing and coordinating all assigned inspection projects contracted though Intertek Asset Integrity Management (AIM). We’re looking for a candidate with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the refining or petrochemical industry as an inspector, in maintenance, or in a similar position.
What you’ll do:
- Staff all advanced NDE inspection projects contracted through Intertek Asset Integrity Management, Inc. (AIM).
- Provide growth of the advanced NDT department through the addition of revenue streams and personnel.
- Coordinate the employee’s required tasks to effectively begin their duties at the client’s location.
- Supervise and coordinate with Intertek’s QC/QA department the certification of Intertek’s NDT staff
- Nourish the group’s training for continued advancement of Intertek’s technicians

What it takes to be successful in this role:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in NDT inspection
- Valid TWIC Card
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record (required)
- Knowledgeable in midstream/gas plant/NGL type equipment (preferred)
- Must be able to apply examination criteria in accordance with applicable standards/specifications/procedures on the provided job scopes and evaluate test results
- Maintain open lines of communication with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors
- Ability to organize and report test results and send information to the office for data processing.
- Ability to solve technical issues in the field.
- Follow technology advancements in the Inspection/NDE
- Must be able to work independently.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft software, and various IDMS platforms. ACAD experience is a plus.
- Ability to provide clear and technical guidance to other technicians and subcontractors (preferred)
- Background and prior certification in NDE methods (preferred)
