Hourly Wage Estimate: $54.78 - $66.15/Hour

Here is some of what you can expect from being an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist with us:

  • You will perform drug procurement, drug packaging, patient billing, and all aspects of drug compounding and distribution

  • You will provide drug information and clinical service to health professionals and patients

  • You will supervise Pharmacy Technicians, Interns, Students and Volunteers

  • You will monitor all aspects of drug therapy in the facility

  • You will provide services which require specialized skills and/or age-specific competencies, which include adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients from neonatal through adolescent ages

  • You will serve as a patient advocate when planning and implementing pharmaceutical care

This is a Decentralized Pharmacist position focusing on neurologic conditions, especially ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. The pharmacist will be responsible for covering patients in the neurocritical care unit, neurology step down unit (including elective seizure admissions) and rehabilitation, as well as covering the stroke pager to mix tPA at bedside and overseeing investigational studies. Prior experience teaching pharmacy students and/or pharmacy resident(s) strongly preferred.

Qualifications you will need for this role:

  • Registered Pharmacist in the State of Colorado-BCPS certification preferred.

  • BCLS/ACLS required through AHA or ARC

  • B.S. or Pharm D. degree in Pharmacy-Graduate of an accredited residency program preferred

  • Minimum of three years clinical experience required

  • Previous management/project management experience preferred

  • PGY1 required for this role

  • PGY2 in CCU perferred for this role
