Job Description

We are the nation’s leading provider of an innovative marketing, lead generation, and appointment setting system called Proactive Preneed. “Preneed” refers to funerals that are prearranged and prefunded through a small value life insurance policy. Precoa has over 200 employees and is partnered with over 500 independent advance funeral planners, 400 funeral homes and has annual sales volume exceeding $400 million. Since inception in 2004, Precoa has experienced an average annual growth rate of 20%.Responsibilities:The Advance Funeral Planner (AFP) is an outside sales representative that works with our partnered funeral homes helping families prearrange and prefund end of life services through a preneed insurance policy. AFPs make an impact daily by helping families prepare and plan for one of the hardest days their family will go through. As an AFP, position responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Execution of successful sales strategies
  • In home consumer sales presentations
  • Lead generation and prospecting both in the field and within the funeral home
  • Web Portal Management: coordinate schedule availability, accept/deny appointments and report results of your sales presentations
  • Provide consumer education on the funeral industry and services provided through the funeral home
  • Travel to appointments with interested consumers and group presentations within the local market
Qualifications:
  • Excellent sales acumen or previous sales experience
  • Ability to close preset appointments
  • Ability to cultivate a territory through networking and lead generation
  • Strong relationship development and communication skills
  • Empathetic, caring, and compassionate personality
  • Tremendous work ethic and competitive mindset
  • Appropriate state Life Insurance license or ability to obtain one
