SUMMARY
The Adobe Target Architect is responsible for the configuration, administration, and general Adobe Target function. They will debug, troubleshoot, and fix the configuration and integration issues across a complex ecosystem of data and integrations of external platforms and how they interact with the Adobe ecosystem. Partner with the analytics teams on measurement across customized site experiences. They will need a solid history of developing and editing JavaScript, CSS, and HTML within the Adobe Target UI with a heavy emphasis on scripting. They will also work closely with our wider martech team to make sure future developments do not hinder the personalization of future experiences. They will work with our Adobe launch team and its integration with Adobe Analytics. Experience in developing workflows for cross functional teams. They will bring a deep understanding of large scale digital eco-systems. They will have some understanding of AI/ML concepts & technology and how they apply to business problems. They will have a strong understanding of how data influences marketing decisions and how Adobe’s ecosystem handles those marketing decisions. They will deliver website optimization and customized experience strategies across the website and other touch points.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Architect and author Adobe Target technical solutions to drive multi-touch/multi-channel marketing, defined by the buyer's journey.
- Asses use case requirements and identify technical solutions
- Configure, administer, and operate Adobe Target to build always-on, omni-channel campaigns
- Define systems landscapes, identify gaps between current and desired end-states and solution delivery
- Deliver against the optimization and customized experience strategies across the website and other touch points
Implement, optimize, and scale digital personalization architecture to co-exist with existing AEM development and 3rd party experiences and data platforms.
- Manage Adobe.IO API integrations across platforms
- Drive a rapid process of identifying potential failure points in component and experience development and address solutions to those, including monitoring upcoming platform releases
- Debug, troubleshoot, and fix the configuration and integration issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to delivering custom site experiences
QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Expertise in architecting and activating impactful personalization strategies that drive business growth via digital experiences and channels.
- Expertise in scripting and data integrations with Target.
- Expertise in A/B testing, MVT testing, and conversion rate optimization.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Analytics Workspace along with core statistical measures of success, predictive analytics, and data segmentation analysis.
- Knowledge of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and activating profile data. Ability to utilize data from a CDP to identify intent and drive advanced segmentation for personalization.
- Proven success in developing 1:1 programs, managing multichannel touchpoints, building test and learn programs, and identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Clear understanding of privacy regulations (such as GDPR and CCPA) and the impact on customer data management as it relates to personalized marketing.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS.
- Ability to produce high-quality output in a fast-paced, agile-driven environment.
- Excellent communicator in written and verbal form; ability to work well with technologists and marketers as well as influence cross functionally.
- Comfortable presenting results and recommendations to leadership clearly and concisely.
- Strong relationship-management skills to establish productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Results-driven attitude, able to support multiple large initiatives with high impact and visibility.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS or equivalent business experience.
RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Eight years of experience architecting digital personalization experiences and tests using Adobe Target with a strong focus on UX, scripting, analytics, and conversion rate optimization.
- 2+ years of experience activating data from a Customer Data Platform such as AEP (Adobe Experience Platform) or other 3rd party data source
- eCommerce personalization experience a plus
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Certification in Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics preferred.
