    DutiesSummary

    This position serves as an Administrative Specialist in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), U.S. National Central Bureau of the International Criminal Police Organization (USNCB), also known as INTERPOL. The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative management services in support of USNCB.


    Responsibilities

    The duties and responsibilities for a 0301 Administrative Specialist generally include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • The incumbent issues, process, maintains, tracks and dispose of credentials.
    • The incumbent performs facility management and advisory services.
    • The incumbent conducts inspections for potential hazards and safety issues.
    • The incumbent provides procurement estimates.
    • The incumbent serves as a liaison to teams.
    The duties listed above are generally written for one grade level. If the position is advertised at multiple grades, the duties will be adjusted in difficulty, complexity, and level of supervision, for higher or lower grades, as appropriate.     • You must be a United States Citizen or National.

    QualificationsTo qualify for the position of Administrative Specialist at (GS-0301-12), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to.

    If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade.

    To qualify for the GS-12, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service performing the following duties:
    • Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies meeting health and safety standards; AND
    • Providing guidance and/or direction on present and potential facility problems (e.g. health and safety issues ,parking, etc.); AND
    • Preparing quarterly and annual reports for facility and property management; AND
    • Implementing tracking systems (e.g. fleet, acquisition, etc.) for facilities management.
