What you will be doing:
The scope of responsibility assigned to this position includes budgets and expenditures; human resources and payroll; accounts payable/receivable; purchasing and supply; professional services contracting; facility management; and property inventory and replacement. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled administrative generalist, manager, and supervisor. Knowledgeable about budget development, monitoring, accounting and financial management including the Alaska Budget System and the State of Alaska accounting system, personnel processes and management including the Alaska payroll system, Workplace Alaska and Online Position Description; and purchasing processes and management including professional services contracting.

Minimum Qualifications
Two years of professional/administrative-level experience providing administrative support to a business or organization. The required experience includes work such as Administrative Officer I, Accountant II, Human Resource Specialist I, Procurement Specialist II, Grants Administrator II, and similar administrative classes with the State of Alaska or the equivalent with another employer.
