The growing Product team is seeking an experienced Administrative Manager. You will manage the general daily administrative duties for the Head of FX Solutions in the Product Organization in addition to leading a team of administrative assistants. The ideal candidate will be a true partner who has the intellectual curiosity to develop a strong command of SVB’s business which will allow him/her to use judgment and experience to make independent decisions. You have a can-do attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment, remain calm under pressure, and possess the ability to work quickly with ever changing work-priorities. You welcome new challenges and learning opportunities, are proactively committed to self-improvement, regularly seek out performance feedback, and work well independently in a collaborative environment. Given the fast-paced environment, flexibility, proactive problem-solving skills, excellent judgment, positive attitude, and superior organizational skills are all required for success. A strong attention to detail coupled with a sense of urgency and the ability to think beyond the initial set of facts or issues will distinguish top candidates. This individual has a strong orientation towards self-reliance and resourcefulness.

Responsibilities will include complex calendar management, travel coordination, expense management, delegate access to a variety of systems, occasional event planning, and project management. You will partner with HR, Finance, Marketing, Facilities and other internal vendors when necessary to ensure that the business is running at a peak level. You will establish business rhythms and routines to create a framework that encourages regular communications and check-ins. Other responsibilities may include co-owning reporting responsibilities to make sure that reporting is collected and turned in on time, relaying messages/information, preparing, proofreading, distributing and replying to correspondence, researching issues as needed, and other general administrative duties for the team.

In addition to supporting this senior leader, you will manage an administrative team and make independent decisions around distribution of workloads and the execution of tasks and performance management. You will provide coaching and professional development opportunities for your team and act as a role model and sounding board. Qualifications

  • Excellent Microsoft 365 abilities, including Office, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience supporting complex projects with multiple stakeholders and work streams
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, listening
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Very organized - adeptly balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to triage and prioritize tasks – including long-term assignments and urgent tasks
  • Experience and comfort in general administrative support functions, including complex calendaring
  • Demonstrated expertise working and managing teams
  • Proactive and resourceful
  • Positive attitude, collaborative, flexible
  • Curious, quick learner, not afraid to ask questions
  • Good judgement and discretion: ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
