Built in 1976, Medical City Lewisville is a 185 plus bed full-service medical and surgical facility offering 24-hour emergency services. We are licensed to accommodate 186 patients. The Administrative Director of Nursing (ADN) reports to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and shares administrative authority and responsibility for the practice of nursing. The ADN participates in formulating organization policy, develops or reviews procedures, develops, directs and ensures the implementation of Standards of Nursing Practice and promotes optimal health care delivery. Under the direction of the CNO, the ADN is accountable for coordinating the implementation of regulatory standards and accrediting agencies. The ADN assists the CNO in ensuring the delivery of quality patient care while improving standards and outcomes of care delivery, care experience, and fiscal stewardship in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization. Maintains knowledge of social, economic, legal, and regulatory issues, which impact the health care delivery system.

Qualifications
Position Qualifications:
1. Education/Experience Required
A. Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
- Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas
- 5 years recent management experience in an acute care hospital
- Masters degree in Nursing or related field required
- Certification in nursing leadership or specialty required
