Hancock Askew is currently seeking a* Receptionist* for its Dadeland office in Miami, FL office to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for answering incoming calls and directing calls to appropriate associates
  • Organizes and schedules meetings as required, including contacting participants, room bookings, ordering food, making necessary arrangements, etc.
  • Daily maintenance of reception areas, kitchen, break rooms, and conference rooms by making sure areas are stocked and well-organized
  • Control inventory relevant to office, reception area, conference rooms and kitchen, request supplies from a variety of vendors and restock accordingly
  • Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks
  • Mail distribution, flow of correspondence
  • Other duties as assigned by Partners

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)

Must be deadline-oriented and highly organized, with the demonstrated ability to prioritize work effectively and adapt quickly to changing client needs and priorities. Excellent client service skills are required, as well as the demonstrated ability to earn the confidence, trust and respect of clients and team members.
