AnnaSea Foods Group is looking for someone who is an entry-level Administrator with an interest in growing in the Quality Assurance Department. Duties of the Administrator include working alongside and providing support to the QA manager and technician, assisting in audits, document control, etc. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Documentation collection and verification of all documents
- Organize daily packets to be submitted to QA Manager within two days for verification
- Distribution of new forms/audit corrective action report delegation to each department
- Temp Check on incoming fish (Fish Receiving Forms)-
- Thermometer Checks (as necessary)
- Collect ingredient sample and send Certificate of Authenticity (COA) to lab
- Supply Documentation collection (ongoing annually) with suppliers
- Collect updated HACCP plans and HACCP Certificate of Compliance letters from vendors annually.
- Send out updated HACCP Certificate of Compliance letters to customers annually
- Act as a backup contact for uniform services
- Assist in data entry as needed
- Assist in data research as needed
- Conduct and Investigate Order claims research
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- Prior experience in seafood or industrial food production highly desired
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles highly desired
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills including accuracy in completing records and filing documents
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize tasks
- Flexibility with scheduling and daily work requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Able to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision, as well as to function effectively as a member of a small, closely operating team.
- Ability to work in chilled production environments
- Ability to stand for long-periods of time
- Basic mathematical skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Pay: $15.75 - $17.00 per hour
