Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of nursing and allied healthcare programs such as: Vocational Nurse, Psychiatric Technician and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN pathway) as well as Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant and Phlebotomy Technician and healthcare programs: Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant, Ultrasound Technology, MRI, Radiologic Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Imaging.
We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant Student Services at our Sacramento, CA campus.
Core Responsibilities
Administrative Assistant Student Services reports to the Assistant Campus Director/Student Services Manager and provides essential administrative and clerical support for the Student Services Department. This will be accomplished through daily support of the department to meet goals and deadlines. The incumbent will be the primary custodian of both Physical & Electronic student files to include folder creation, filling, and maintenance. This position requires administrative support at the front desk including fielding phone calls, handling campus orders/deliveries, managing facility needs, interfacing for student questions or concerns, and providing minutes for all weekly campus meetings. The position requires a high level of discretion in handling compliance documentation and other confidential information. Additionally, the position requires efficiency and a high level of attention to detail working in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate Degree; Management / Business Degree preferred
- 2+ years of administrative assistant experience
- Knowledge of Google suite including GMail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides to the intermediate level
- Experience with project management, campus management, lead management and customer management software preferred
