What you will be doing:
The Administrative Assistant I (AAI) provides technical support in assuring the work of surge staff brought in to manage COVID-19 testing and contact investigations. The HPA are to be effective in this service delivery through analyzing data needed for effective evaluation, support ongoing development of the COVID-19 response and tracking tools, and assure plans are provided to Managers to support infectious disease outbreaks.
The incumbent will work with the Administrative Assistant II for the Section of Epidemiology. The person will assure that correct office procedures are followed, will be responsible for data input, reconciliation, and the tracking of patient data. This position will also research, investigate and perform duties related to COVID-19 response. This HPA position plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of COVID-19 patient results.

Minimum QualificationsSix months of advanced clerical experience. This experience includes work such as Office Assistant II, Accounting Clerk, and similar classes with the State of Alaska or the equivalent with another employer.
OR
Six months of any combination of post-secondary education, vocational education, and/or advanced-level clerical experience. (Three semester or four quarter hours of post-secondary education are equal to one month of experience; 150 hours of vocational education are equal to one month of experience.)
