Job Description

Esmaili Rugs is a luxury rug dealer, we collaborate with clients and design firms across the country to provide a unique curated rug shopping experience. We are hiring a Sales assistant with a interior design background or experience to work closely with our general manager. It is imperative to be able to follow direction and anticipate the needs of the team to provide the best support possible. Working condition is a showroom/ office/ warehouse. You will have a wide array of duties from administrative tasks to creative design, helping in all areas throughout the project process as required. This work requires a very high attention to detail, drive for accuracy, and sense of urgency. Must be able to enjoy working in a creative, fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

  • Corresponding with clients, vendors, and sub-contractors via phone / email.
  • Collaborating on design/ product selection and assisting designers on projects.
  • Assisting with merchandising.
  • Follow up on completed projects to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Schedule Appointments and maintain calendars.
  • Opportunity to design and collaborate on custom rug projects.
  • Facilitate and prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, and other correspondence.
  • Assist with social media management and content creation for marketing.
  • Prioritizing and providing excellent customer service to walk-in clients.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 1 Year Design Experience or Background
  • Associates or Bachelor Degree from an accredited University or 2-4 years work experience in a similar field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
  • Ability to Commute / Relocate
  • Maintain a strong interest in the luxury and design industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
