Providence is calling an Administrative Assistant 1 - Irvington Nursing Services (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Elderplace Oregon in Portland , OR.

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant 1 - Irvington Nursing Services who will perform skilled receptionist and secretarial/clerical activities for ElderPlace sites.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
- Answer the telephone, screen/triage calls, and serve as receptionist and initial contact for callers and visitors. Provide brief overview of program, providing a positive first impression.
- Greet and monitor staff, geriatric participants, and other visitors to center.
- Disburse voice mail messages and answering service reports each a.m.
- Type general correspondence, minutes, reports, daily team notes, and other printed materials as requested.
- Track and complete MSUR records, daily census and timecards.
- Maintain geriatric participant address, phone number, and caregiver rolodex card file current.
- Update, copy and distribute weekly driver schedules based on information provided by the transportation coordinator.
- Coordinate building maintenance/repair, and office equipment maintenance/repair.
- Maintain database for ordering/tracking supplies and equipment for program site, as well as rent collection database.
- Distribute and route incoming mail.
- Act as liaison between PPMC departments and the program site.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position includes:
- High School Diploma -OR- GED
- 1 year secretarial experience
- In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check may be required for this position based upon the location of the position. Fingerprinting may be required also
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
- Office experience with a service-oriented non-profit
- Experience working on busy multi-line phone system
- Accounts payable and cash handling experience
