Job Description

Marist College invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor/Advisor in the Academic Learning Center. The Academic Learning Center is looking for qualified part-time instructors to teach Self-Development and Career Planning courses through our FOCUS Program. These courses include academic advisement for undeclared students. We have multiple and immediate opportunities in these areas.


Minimum Qualifications:


A Master’s Degree and college-level teaching/advisement experience are required.


Essential Functions:


Successful candidates may teach three to nine credits each semester and advise students.

About the Department and School:


The Academic Learning Center provides academic support to all students through courses and programs such as proofreading and tutoring services. The FOCUS Program is housed in this office and focuses on major and career exploration and advisement for Undeclared freshmen.
