  • Salary: 15/hr
  • Schedule: Wed, Thurs. and Fri. 11a-7:30p with occasional weekend rotations
  • Our Activities/Events department goes beyond bingo. We focus on the individual patient, their physical therapy program and helping them return home safely. This is not long term care.

Our Center:

Thrive of Lisle is a 68 bed Transitional Care facility. We focus on the short-term patient population. We have a large in-house therapy team and most of our patients go home after (or before) 17 days. Our new center caters to the needs of this motivated population with larger beds, nicer linens, fine dining (we even have a brick oven for pizzas!) … all in a tastefully designed modern décor. Location: We are located 1.4 miles off Hwy 88, via Naperville Rd. Very easy to commute to.

NOTE: we have a second identical facility in Aurora.


Job Description


In our facility we feel the Activity Aide is pivotal to the satisfaction of a patient/”guest”. Therefore, we call our Activities Aide folks "Event Coordinators".

Qualifications


Job title:
Activity Assistant / Activities Aide / Life Enrichment.

What we need from you:

  • Prior experience as a Activity Assistant, Activities Aide or Life Enrichment
  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility working with short term physical rehab patients.
  • Electronic medical records experience (Point Click Care) is ideal.

Are you going to school to become a Recreational (Rec) Therapist (CTRS certified)? This would be the perfect entry level position for you.
