Tombras, an independent, 400+ person, national full-service advertising agency is searching for an Associate Creative Director, Copywriter to work from our New York City office.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Working closely with the CCO, Creative Directors, and across multiple disciplines, you'll be a key, client-facing inventor and implementor of the vision and direction for our clients. You'll bring your gift of storytelling to life through platforms including broadcast, video, digital, social, print, and emerging channels. You will be involved in the concept, design, and execution of integrated, cross-channel initiatives and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the client's brand and the overall industry. You will also:
- Bring awesome ideas to the table and articulate them efficiently to fellow creatives, account leaders, and our clients.
- Be the creative spokesperson for projects to create high-quality deliverables.
- Embody a brand's identity and help us bring to life an all-encompassing brand experience
- Recognize a client's needs and create ground-breaking creative content.
- Provide day-to-day leadership across multiple projects.
- Oversee accounts and projects both large and small, as needed.
- Assist in managing client relationships.
- Participate in new business activities and present effectively.
- Lead, mentor, and provide direction to more junior team members.
- Ensure the quality of the concept and the work produced in collaboration with Art Directors and Designers.
- Lead and directs cross-disciplinary development and execution of short-term (project-specific) and long-term (account-specific) creative strategies.
- Ensure the creative scope, schedule and budget are accurate.
- Participate constructively in department initiatives and communications.
What You Bring:
- A strong portfolio trumps experience & education nine times out of ten but it is a plus if you have 7- 10 years of ad agency experience or related work experience/training.
- Not required but degrees in Advertising, communications, graphic/digital design, or a degree from a portfolio school are welcome.
- Ability to read, comprehend and write creative copy, simple instructions/correspondence, short correspondence, and memos.
- Experience providing leadership across disciplines and channels
- Client management experience
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships, internally and with clients.
- Ability to lead a team and mentor junior team members.
- Independent spirit, entrepreneurial attitude, and a drive for innovation
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to direct and enhance the efforts of a creative team.
- Ability to apply conceptual strategy, brainstorm facilitation, day-to-day directing of a project to completion.
- Excellent presentation skills.

This position will be remote to start and will be based in New York City when our offices reopen.
