Job Description
How I will contribute
As the leader of the Accounts Receivable team at Asure Software, you will work in a fast-paced environment focused on building and scaling processes for a high growth software company. The Accounts Receivable team works very closely with our go to market function and is critical in driving the success of the organization.
In Asure’s high transaction business, enhancing the flywheel of billing and collections process is paramount. We are looking for an analytical, action oriented, and personable team member to lead a dedicated, hardworking team and maximize the performance of the accounts receivable team. You will collaborate weekly with leadership on driving improvements in the business and emphasizing one of our core values – Deliver Awesome. This is a high visibility role, reporting and providing updates frequently to the Exec team on the state of collections, systems, and the team.   • Own the accounts receivable function from top to bottom, to deliver on key company goals around collections and cash
  • Analyse trends in accounts receivable and collections and publish results to Leadership team
  • Coach and mentor team members via real time feedback, goal setting and investing in career development
  • Partner with our revenue, and sales leadership to deliver the highest quality of customer service
  • Motivate and maintain enthusiasm of team members in a high volume collections environment
  • Identify process improvements and keep a high level of team execution on relevant processes
  • Leverage, maximize, and manage our ERP and systems environment to promote scalable processes
  • Create and monitor key internal metrics to drive success of the department, and company
  • Lead special projects, where necessary, including expansion of business model
  • Prepare recurring reporting and forecasts on KPIs such as cash collections, overdue and DSO for Executive team
  • Build best in class receivables and close process to satisfy auditors

What I will bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable with oversight of the end-to-end receivables process, preferably in a Software or SaaS Software company.
  • 3+ years of experience in people management.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and with senior leadership.
  • Goal oriented and eager to roll up sleeves to iterate and execute quickly, whilst maintaining a high attention to detail.
  • You're a proven leader and a supportive mentor, able to maximize your team's strengths with goal setting and feedback.
  • You love partnering with other teams and building relationships comes second-nature to you.
  • You collaboratively problem solve and engage with others to achieve the right outcome.
  • You can succinctly communicate complex problems to an array of stakeholders.
  • You have made significant improvements to a top tier ERP system, ideally NetSuite.
