Accounting / Bookkeeper

Job Summary:

DEDC, LLC is a full service multi-disciplined engineering and design firm with offices in Newark, Delaware and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Our Company specializes in the engineering and design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for new building construction and building renovations. We are currently seeking additional bookkeeping/accounting support to join our professional staff. In this position, the candidate we seek will be responsible for:

  • Accounting responsibilities for accounts receivable / accounts payable
  • Processing customer billings
  • Collections on accounts
  • Managing vendor invoices
  • Assist with account reconciliations
  • Producing periodic reports and statements

Requirements:

The person we hire will have many of the following skills and job responsibilities:

  • Four or more years of demonstrated bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft programs.
  • Comfortable with MS Excel including managing page layouts, workbook and worksheets, creating tables & charts, formulas, and conditional formatting.
  • Extremely organized and capable of prioritizing tasks to ensure a timely completion of responsibilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively as a member of a team, and to work independently completing assigned tasks accurately and on-time.
  • Excellent data entry skills that demonstrate efficiency, accuracy, and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Solid communications skills.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
