Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY
The Accounting Tech is responsible for the maintenance, review, and reconciliation of finance records including but not limited to the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Payroll. Reconciles daily deposits to PMS reports, deposits as appropriately through electronic systems and monitors available funds for payroll, pension, and A/P. Monitors all accounting activity for designated MPM corporations.Creates and maintains various databases.Produces year-end asset lists for all MPM entities.Appropriately routes and/or responds to all incoming accounting mail in a timely manner.Accurately enters, maintains, and updates employee information in accounting software program, as necessary. Monitors production, capitation, aging, no-production activity, and income reports per department protocol, as necessary. Accurately posts/balances data into general ledger and prepares custom reports as required.Executes quarterly and yearly tax preparations, including 1099s and W2s for all MPM entities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Accounting degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year experience in accounting.
