Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Oversee and manage Accounts Payable department
  • Prepare and maintain the general ledger account analysis
  • Knowledge of freight carriers (UPS/LTL)
  • Work with data warehouse software and prepare various sales and data analysis
  • Prepare month end entries and financial statements
  • Preparing and filing multi-state sales and property taxes
  • Preparing fixed asset and depreciation schedules
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets
  • Assist with Bank and CPA outside audits

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in accounting
  • 5-7 years of accounting experience along with strong accounts payable background
  • Experience in preparing multi-state sales & property taxes
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets – i.e. macros & pivot tables
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detail oriented
