Job Description
Job Duties:
- Oversee and manage Accounts Payable department
- Prepare and maintain the general ledger account analysis
- Knowledge of freight carriers (UPS/LTL)
- Work with data warehouse software and prepare various sales and data analysis
- Prepare month end entries and financial statements
- Preparing and filing multi-state sales and property taxes
- Preparing fixed asset and depreciation schedules
- Assist in the preparation of budgets
- Assist with Bank and CPA outside audits
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in accounting
- 5-7 years of accounting experience along with strong accounts payable background
- Experience in preparing multi-state sales & property taxes
- Strong working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets – i.e. macros & pivot tables
- Strong analytical skills
- Detail oriented
