Job Description
Hondros College of Nursing is hiring an Accounting Specialist for the Central Support Office!
The Accounting Specialist will:
- Maintain inventory levels and processing inventory transactions – purchase orders, returns, warehouse transactions
- Ship textbooks to students and campuses and reviewing issues that arise from shipments
- Order inventory and inventory related products for all campuses
- Maintain monthly inventory depletion
- Maintain quarterly physical reconciliation
- Manage graduation supply ordering
- Execute daily/weekly return of Title IV funding to the department of education
- Execute daily/weekly drawdown of Title IV funding to the department of education
- Assist with annual FISAP reporting
- Assist with monthly COD reconciliation
- Assist with Title IV bank reconciliation Maintain monthly journal entries
- Responsible for other bookstore items revenue and cost analysis
- Monitor and reconcile assigned balance sheet and expense accounts
- Perform Financial Analysis as needed
- Assist the Accounts Payable Specialist as needed to enter invoices
- Serve as back-up to the Accounts Payable Specialist to cut checks
- Update and maintain the college registration system every quarter for the appropriate books, fees and other items associated with the courses
- Maintain the College’s Program Pathway and FA Personal Financing Estimators
- Review and create Company wire authorizations
- Perform annual reporting of unclaimed funds
- Prepare and Submit State Sales Tax, Use Tax and CAT Tax thru the Ohio Gateway system
- Maintain Policies and Procedures
- Maintain SOX Narratives
- Assist the Director of Finance with budgeting, forecasting and growth planning
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Two years accounting experience or equivalent education and experience

Pay: $45,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
