Alpha Q, Inc. is hiring an Accounting Manager.
This position reports directly to the CFO.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting department functions
- Supervise staff and ensure procedural, reporting and compliance adherence,
- Ensure timely and accurate period closing cycles
- Provide input to strategic and critical financial decisions
- Maintain banking and other financial relationships
- Advise management on matters of fiscal procedure and importance for the organization.
- Ensure compliance with the financial procedures of the organization.
- Work with confidential data.
Skills, & Abilities Requirements
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with ERP systems – Visual preferred
- Familiar with ADP Workforce Now
Specific Quality Requirements:
- CPA or MBA Preferred, or 10+ years applicable experience in a Manufacturing Environment

- Thorough knowledge and practical experience in the application of accounting concepts.
- Manufacturing accounting experience.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills; ability to clearly and concisely document and effectively communicate accounting issues to both Finance and Non-Finance personnel.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects with meaningful priorities and tight deadlines.
- Ability to work with diverse and cross-functional teams.
- Strong Visual Account Software experience.
- Strong MS Office Skills.
Educational Requirements:
College graduate with degree in Business Administration, Accounting Major preferred. Four to five years accounting experience required to acquire sufficient background in accounting systems, organization, policies, and to attain proficiency requirements.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
