Accounting Clerk

We are looking for an entry level Accounting Clerk who is a self-starter and able to efficiently manage work load with little to no supervision. This person has to have his/her own access to a computer with broadband internet connectivity. Initial training will be done on site and on-going work activities will be carried out remotely at home - must have your own broadband internet and computer. Entry level Accounting students are welcomed.

Responsibilities:

• Filing incoming reports, invoices, HR related documents, etc. for entries.
• Entry of sales/cash data, invoices etc. into Quickbook.
• Entry of all HR & timekeeping data into payroll portal.
• Prepare periodic financial statements.
• Reconciliation of various bank accounts - able to research and pin point any accounting variances.

Skills:

• Accuracy & attention to details is a must.
• Able to efficiently manage work load with little supervision.
• Familiarity with Quickbook is a plus.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures is a plus.
• Competency in computer skills - data entry & spreadsheet- is a must.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends

Experience:

• QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred)
• Bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
