What You'll Do:
- Administers, verifies, processes and supports the A/P & A/R areas, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, filing deadlines, and compliance needs are met within the processes and systems used.
- Provides "hands on" support to the Accounting area as needed to ensure confidential and high priority items are met.
- Assists with the preparation and coordination of the interfacing of information, data, and reporting to other areas of the business to ensure smooth and complete processes.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Associates degree in Accounting, Business or related field preffered; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of general Accounting experience within a manufacturing setting, strongly preferred.
- Certifications: N/A
- Functional Skills: Experience with handling and supporting Accounting activities around Accounts Payable/Receivables. Strong organization, prioritization and an ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and accuracy, good math skills with the ability to analyze/audit data.
- Technology Skills: Proficiency with MS office products, Accounting software experience needed. Experience with Quickbooks or Paychex, helpful.
- Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Leadership/Behaviors: Honest, results-driven individual that is professional in appearance and demeanor. Demonstrated ability to be consistent and logical in carrying out tasks, who can complete projects and meet deadlines. Compassionate and considerate with excellent listening skills who enjoys helping others and providing solutions. Other Important Information:
Salary: Salary is commensurate with proven expertise.
And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!
Reports To: Director of Finance
Core Hours: 8:00 am 5:00 pm
Typical Work Week: M-F; some weekends & OT required (when applicable); 42+ hours a week on average
