Description of Essential Duties

  • Provide support to mill as it relates to raw materials
  • External and Internal audit support for the mill
  • Assist with GRIR activity for aging and other matters requiring follow-up
  • Be able to analyze general account activity, vendor activity, and cost center analysis to support the finance manager.
  • Project tracking and support for mill capital projects to support finance manager in capitalization and disposal of assets
  • Other general accounting duties as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Associates degree in Business or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in accounting preferred
  • Knowledge and ability to use SAP advantageous
  • Knowledge of G/L accounts and cost center concept
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word Office Suite
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information in a highly professional manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and build implicit trust
  • Strong understanding of theories, principles, and practices of accounting, budgets, finance, and financial recordkeeping
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule
  • Strong understanding of theories, principles, and practices of accounting, budgets, finance, and financial recordkeeping
