Job Description
The Raymond Leasing team is looking for an experienced Accountant. This position will be a key resource in the group, performing a myriad of accounting duties including, but not limited to, preparing and/or reviewing journal entries, preparing financial reports, assisting with audits and/or providing reconciliations, resolving complex issues with high level management/outside professionals, and conducting special studies and analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in business and accounting. Must possess a broad working knowledge of various accounting standards and guidelines which may include, but is not limited to: US GAAP, SOX, IAS, and IFRS.

Job Responsibilities:
- Independently evaluates, selects, and applies generally accepted accounting principles to standard and non-standard journal entries for income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements, and other accounting reports.
- Assists with monthly closing process, including preparation of entries and ensuring accuracy of general ledger.
- Prepares financial reports for submission to Raymond Corporation/Toyota.
- Prepares and/or reviews month-end reconciliations.
- Provides accounting-related advice and counsel to internal employees.
- Leads cross-functional teams for accounting-related projects to provide synergies across the Raymond/Toyota companies.
- Provides work direction/support to other accountants and administrative support positions as required.
- Conducts special studies and analyzes or develops current accounting methods/practices/procedures and makes recommendations accordingly.
- Provides support for year-end and other related audits (i.e. JSOX).
- Exchanges information and helps resolve sensitive, complex issues with high level management/ professionals from both inside and outside the organization, including auditing firms.
- Analyzes current practices/procedures and makes recommendations for change (TPS-RLM/Kaizen).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Conduct research and recommend implementation of accounting guidelines.
- Meet deadlines with accuracy and demonstrate a sense of urgency that results in a commitment to quality results.
- Lead the strategic plans for Raymond Leasing, Raymond Corporation and Toyota which include, but are not limited to, the development of appropriate metrics, implementation of a new leasing ERP system and off-lease asset management.
