Living Branches is currently seeking a new Accountant to join our team!
Responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine and maintain accurate records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and other financial activities within Living Branches.
CORE JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting the Accounting Manager with all accounting departments functions and responsibilities.
Performs assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
Reconciles account balances to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
Generates, Creates, and Analyzes various reports for financial accuracy.
Compiles reports required by auditors.
Generates ad hoc financial analysis and reports as requested.
Assists with preparation of annual budgets as requested.
Experience with Fixed assets
Assists in other various accounting/finance tasks and projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Efficient in Microsoft Excel
1+ years of experience
Nice to have
· Experience with Sage Intacct software (general ledger)
· Experience with Papersave software (Accounts Payable)
· Experience working in non-profit organizations
· Experience working in Long Term Care and/or CCRC environment within the Healthcare Industry
· Experience with Fixed assets, including new software implementation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
