Accountant

Application of technical skills and expertise in general accounting, performs and analyzes accounting transactions, develops financial reports and financial statements, performs fluctuation analysis, and solves other complex accounting-related problems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY

· Monitoring and analyzing accounting data to produce financial reports

· Ensuring all financial systems are correct and fit for purpose

· Maintaining accurate financial records

· Monitors internal accounting controls and company policies.

· Conducts routine fiscal reviews; develops and reviews financial indicators and fiscal impact statements.

· General ledger accounting and reconciliation

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Education/ Licensure/ Credentials

Required: BS/BA Degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred: CPA

Experience Required: Five (5) years of relevant job experience as an Accounting Manager

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems

Preferred: Financial Forensic Certification
