The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

The 3M Account Representative position is ideal for self-motivated individuals with field sales experience, who have worked with large Distributors and have familiarity with team selling approach working in conjunction with other sales representatives.

As a 3M Account Representative, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people in graphics world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Manage channel sales responsibility in Eastern OH/Western PA
• Drive business for key sign companies/distributor branches and OEM accounts
• Grow the graphics and signage business by developing close business relationships with all Distributors and branch distributors, Graphic Manufacturers and Sign Companies in the territory
• Develop and maintain a territory sales plan, an extensive sales pipeline and accurate account information primarily using Salesforce data entry

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Three (3) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Distribution management experience
• Current, valid Driver’s License

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience working with large distributors
• Experience with team selling approach
• Experience and ability to demonstrate product in front of small and large groups
• Good communication skills; both written and verbal
• Self-starter/ self-directed that leads with high energy and passion
• Results oriented with strong process and execution skills

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Territory: Central and Western PA, Eastern OH and includes some counties in WV

Travel: May include up to 25%

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
