The Role

Account Manager for Publix Supermarkets


Role Description

Our Publix Team is growing, and we are looking for an Account Manager to lead sales for our clients and connect the retailer accordingly. You will play a critical role in building sales growth. If you love being a connector and servant leadership, this could be the role for you!


Location

Remote; must be located in Tampa, FL, Orlando, FL, or Lakeland FL


What You will Do

  • Create and expand business opportunities with our clients and exceed goals set forth. Drive the business by developing compelling stories and buy-in from retailers by focusing on category improvements and consumer trends.

Experience and Skills You Will Need

  • Savvy experience with computers and virtual / live meetings
  • To understand and explain IRI/Nielsen data – find the story
  • Properly help plan strategic initiatives that will promote the brands / category
  • Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
  • Exceptional leadership skills dealing with retailer and clients of all levels.
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships with clients, customers, & colleagues.
  • Ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Calendars, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms.
    • High Level skills in business writing and Excel
  • Mid/strong level of knowledge of grocery retailers in assigned market

Travel Requirements

  • Some travel required

  • Experience working with Distributors (i.e. KeHE)
  • Passionate about teamwork and driving sales
  • Fresh Department experience (i.e. Produce, Meat, Deli, Bakery)
