IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 11 million students worldwide, is seeking an Account Manager to join our growing Customer Success team in Raleigh, NC.
The ideal Account Manager will have a passion for K-12 education, account management and customer success. In this role you will be developing relationships with educational administrators across the US to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the customer life-cycle. You will be responsible for the subscription renewal, upsell, customer retention and engagement activities in assigned territory.
This person must be proactive, well organized and extremely personable. We are looking for a quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is self-motivated with outstanding people skills and integrity.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING- Proactive outreach to customers with expiring subscriptions through phone, email and targeted campaigns to secure subscription renewal and drive expansion in your assigned territory
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers to ensure customer engagement throughout the life of the subscription
- Develop a deep understanding of IXL's products and what sets us apart from competing programs
- Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and values in order to provide the best customer experience and maximize product usage and engagement
- Effectively communicate new product enhancements and benefits to existing customers virtually
- Develop and manage targeted campaigns to upsell and expand within existing accounts
- Conduct regular territory review meetings with internal stakeholders to communicate general territory health, trends, including changes to strategic direction
- Accurately track all customer related activities, communication and opportunity tracking in CRM
- Gather customer feedback to help improve and enhance product offerings
- BA/BS Degree
- 1-2 years experience in Account Management/Customer Success, Renewal Sales or Inside Sales
- Classroom experience and/or a related educational field preferred
- Exceptional phone skills
- Comfortable with technology and passionate about bringing technology into the classroom
- Energetic self-starter with a track record of exceeding goals and who thrives in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
- Exceptional critical thinking, research and problem-solving skills
- Experienced with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proven ability to work effectively across teams
