Job Description
SEEL, a growing energy efficiency company serving public utilities and their customers throughout the Midwest, is seeking a proven Account Manager to manage and develop credible working relationships with existing and potential program partners in the Chicago, IL area.

The Account Manager Position offers:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent the program at events with the purpose of finding program participant leads
- Manage program portal and account verifications
- Be willing to work closely with the Program Manager on contract renewals as they come up
- Proactively identify at-risk partner relationships and develop plans to avoid contract termination in partnership with operational teams
- Establish marketing and outreach metrics to ensure outreach strategies remain consistent with overall program goals and objectives
- Prospect potential program participants and conduct eligibility site audits
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’ s degree in Public Relations, Social Service, Communications, Business or related area equivalent to education and work experience
- 6Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred
- 3 years community outreach/communications or related business experience
- Knowledge of weatherization and energy efficiency industry
- Sales experience
- Proven successful track record in motivated outreach efforts
- Proven ability to effectively plan, direct, organize and manage diverse activities to ensure effective delivery of work programs
- Ability to prioritize activities, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks, from program planning to client meetings
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle a variety of activities concurrently
- Ability to anticipate challenges, plan for solutions, and work within existing structures to overcome barriers
- Ability to work in cross-functional and matrix-managed teams
- Possess an innovative and open-minded approach to all aspects of work solid project management skills
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
