Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Account Executive, Subscriptions Sales position is to help our members develop strategies to be successful in the promotional products industry. We are seeking a team player who actively participates in outbound calling to sell and maintain clients on ASI web-based services and subscriptions.

Essential Functions:

  • Selling ASI Subscription services including but not limited to Connect, Supplier Internet, and Website services to all suppliers not currently subscribing to these services.
  • Confident with cold calling, email and lead follow-up calls.
  • Responsible for developing and qualifying new leads, communication with customers and ensuring a successful sales process.
  • Consulting and acting as a liaison between the client and the ASI account managers.
  • Build rapport with clients and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Working with “at risk” customers to retain their business and to educate them on available options.
  • Contacting all newly listed suppliers to introduce them to our services within 30 days of being listed.
  • Updating Salesforce (CRM) on a client basis.
  • Attending seminars including in-house ASI Knowledge programs, that improve your knowledge of all ASI research and marketing products and services.
  • Closing sales and achieving monthly sales targets.
  • Reaching and maintaining monthly, quarterly and yearly retention numbers for all subscription services.
  • Taking the initiative to read and self-study in order to effectively make recommendations and promote services to ASI prospects and clients.

Position Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience with business-to-business phone sales required.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with sales databases, Salesforce is a plus.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and achieve goals.
