Overview and Responsibilities :
ViacomCBS, the multi-national entertainment and mass media conglomerate with brands like MTV, Nickelodeon, CBS, CMT, Comedy Central and more has an exciting opportunity on its Shopper Marketing team for a well-connected and authoritative sales professional. This individual will be responsible for growing ad revenue for ViacomCBS’ Shopper Marketing products, which include Influence Marketing, Creative Commerce & Content, Streaming Video and Experiential. Work location will be remote, but based in either Bentonville, AR or New York, NY

This is a meaningful role with a wide range of responsibilities, including:

Manage, grow and maintain product revenue derived from a specified list of accounts, including agency, client-direct and retailer clients.
Act as liaison and vocal advocate for ViacomCBS Shopper Marketing products, both internally and externally
Develop sales strategy and go-to-market plans for generating revenue from a roster of national, high priority clients
Build and deliver compelling sales presentations (ppt or keynote skills)
Utilize market research and competitive advantages for clients in order to support advertising and marketing across the business.
Collaborate with internal partners, including digital sales, and client support teams
Deeply understand client needs and objectives and serve as the voice-of-the-client to ensure all advertising campaigns are optimized to achieve those objectives.

Basic Qualifications :
5+ years of professional experience, especially in digital ad sales and/or activation, with a verifiable record of excellent sales results
3+ years Shopper Marketing experience with an agency, client, retailer or service provider

Additional Qualifications :
Understanding of Social Influence, Experiential and/or streaming video marketplace
Book of established advertiser relationships in the shopper marketing space
Passionate Shopper Marketing advocate and professional.
Shopper Marketing industry knowledge and understanding of retail market forces.
Strong knowledge of using creative content and media for solving client objectives.
Knowledge of digital media related qualitative and quantitative research.
