Job Purpose: To provide risk management analysis for clients and prospects
Organizational Relationships: Responsible to Managing Partner
Primary Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Facilitate capabilities presentations from all company business groups to clients and prospects.
- Prepare applications, surveys and other submission documents on new business and renewals.
- Present proposals to prospects and clients and close new or renewal sales.
- Work with the marketing team to place new program business opportunities and renewals to meet the clients’ needs.
- Develop client service plans and stewardship reports.
- Maintain personal contacts with clients during the year consistent with service plan requirements.
- Conduct on-going risk management analysis of existing accounts.
- Check policy coverage and rating accuracy and relevance on all new business, endorsements, audits and renewals.
- Participate in claim reviews and trouble shoot issues with the carriers on behalf of the client.
- Structure insurance programs and options for premium financing.
- Assist Managing Partner and marketing personnel with the market research and development of new programs and/or self-insurance services.
- Assist in collection of all premiums as described in the company collection policy.
Job Specifications: (Education, experience, skills, characteristics)
- High school diploma, College degree or professional designation preferred
- Seven years of experience in the insurance industry.
- High degree of self-discipline and motivation.
- Willing and able to travel and work extended hours.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance coverage.
- Holds or is in the process of obtaining professional designation (CPCU, CIC, AAI, ARM.)
- Must possess producer license and appropriate non-resident licenses.
