Job Description
Eric L. Knowlton School (Grades 4-5) has an opening for a fifth grade regular education classroom teacher. We are looking for a caring, energetic and responsive educator to join our amazing team. ELKS is a small school that serves approximately 200 students in grades 4-5 in Berwick.
We proudly offer outstanding specialists in art, music, physical education, SEL, and media/library. Students have the opportunity to participate in band, chorus and many other intramural activities such as drama and gardening club. While we provide Title I literacy and math, English to Speakers of Other Languages and Gifted/Talented Programs, our staff and students are also supported by coaches and interventionists in literacy, math and behavior. A qualified candidate will hold Maine Certification and have a strong literacy background.
