3rd Shift Operations Technician

General Purpose:

Guide and participate in production activities in the grinding room for drying and bulk packaging of grated cheese.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow GMP's and regulatory guidelines
• Schedule, assign, train, and monitor team to assure that assigned goals are met
• Perform necessary preparations for production, including monitoring stock levels
• Participate in work rotations
• Coordinate cheese to be de-cartoned and assist with opening
• Maintain open, efficient and effective communication with supervisor, dryer operator, and co-workers
• Assist warehouse operators in moving materials as needed
• Clean and sanitize equipment, know how to tear down and reassemble
• Use SAP functions to ensure that ingredients are used and reported accurately
• Operate pallet jack and forklift
• Observe and correct unsafe actions by co-workers. Demonstrate and enforce food safety standards and good manufacturing practices.

• High school diploma or GED required
