The important role of the 3PL Customer Support Specialist is to be the point of contact for the company’s valued clients when they are in need of any assistance. As the Customer Support Specialist, you are required to communicate effectively and work efficiently in order to help the company achieve its goal of providing the best service possible to its clients.
Position: Customer Support Specialist
Days of Operation: Monday-Friday
Hours of Operation: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Job Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, process and monitor daily order request by clients
- Coordinate freight receiving and shipment schedules with customer, drivers and trucking
- Data entry
- Following-up between clients and the accounting department for any billing discrepancies or questions
- Organizing and filing documents
- Resolve customer complaints
- Maintaining positive business and customer relationships
- Other customer support related tasks as assigned
Ability, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Professional etiquette in phone, verbal and written communication
- Positive, optimistic and attention to detail
- Experience in logistics / customer service a plus
- Bilingual in Chinese preferred
- Able to effectively and professionally communicate in verbal and written form
- Responsible, personable and motivated
- Customer relationship management skills
- Openness to feedback
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
