Job Description

General Description

The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and improving process equipment in order to support the production team. The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for working with the maintenance team to improve existing processes and repair techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts themself in a safe and courteous manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves equipment failures
  • Performs preventive maintenance routines
  • Performs site specific checks of facility systems
  • Efficiently communicates plant issues in a timely manner
  • Works responsibly to find long term value-added solutions

Key Skills/Abilities

  • Knowledge of electrical wiring, controls, plc
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems including bearings, shafts, rollers,

pneumatics

  • Active listening
  • Critical thinking
  • Judgment and decision making
  • Basic computer skills

Education and Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma at minimum
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of electro-mechanical experience

Desired:

  • Knowledge of food processing or packaging
  • Experience with Allen Bradley Logix/Studio 5000
