2022-23 SY HR Director, Educator Development

The Director of Educator Development reports to the Chief of HR and works collaboratively with their co-Director of Leadership Development to lead the district’s transformational work to develop and support our educators, school leaders, and instructional staff. You will serve as a key equity champion in the district, and ensure that programs and supports are effective in increasing outcomes for youth who have been underserved, including African American students, English learners, students with disabilities, and Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander students. You will provide key leadership in designing, managing, and refining programs for new teacher development, including a range of teacher credentialing programs and partnerships; and systems and structures to support professional growth for our educators and leaders. In consultation with the ED, you will manage teams in the department which may include teacher pipeline programs, new teacher support and teacher leadership teams.
