The Remote Advice team is a virtual team of licensed financial professionals that manage relationships and provide advice, sales and service, to clients directly and on behalf of advisors with Equitable. Equitable is a leading financial services company with a diverse and inclusive work environment. The organization was established in 1859, and we are committed to helping our clients meet their financial goals.
The intern role will be responsible for supporting business operation activities, partnering with project manager and data and analytics owner on the Remote Advice team. A qualified candidate for this role will have studied business with a sales, finance or project management background. Role will support growth efforts of organization, focusing on business operations activities (Advisor Assist Program enrollments, renewals, reporting), project management, and office management in Syracuse. We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills who are proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
The duration of the internship is 10 weeks with the possibility of full time employment offered after graduation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursing a College Degree
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Rising Senior in a Bachelor's degree program (expected graduation 2022)
- Knowledge of financial / insurance industry
- Strong writing skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills
