Position Summary/Objective
General Laborer is responsible for assisting the production areas with order completion, fabricating component parts and/or assembling the finished product according to the customer specifications. This position requires heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday (possible OT on Saturday)
Stating wage: $16/hr + benefits
Job Duties Responsibilities:
- Stacks completed products in accordance with established safety procedures
- Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate
- Band and tag completed stacks of lumber and/or pallets
- Assist with lumber cutting and/or pallet production (gun nailing, pallet repair)
- Completes pre-shift/startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
- Maintains production records as required
- Checks materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
- The position will require bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting/carrying over 50 lbs, pushing/pulling, twisting, standing and walking.

Required Education and Experience:

- Minimum 6 months of experience with manual labor is required; either in a construction or manufacturing operation
- Working knowledge of basic math, ability to read a tape measure
- Basic computer skills required, preferably within an inventory management system
